AIA Real Life: NOW Festival

August 15 & 16 saw the inaugural AIA Real Life: NOW festival held at the at the Jamsil Sports Complex Main Stadium, Seoul. Sponsored by AIA, the Festival was the largest music event undertaken by the Company since the inception of its music division. 

Promoted by the world's leading live entertainment company, Live Nation, in association with Korea's top artist management firm, YG Entertainment the festival featured some of the world's biggest selling artists, including headline acts, Lady Gaga and YG Family.

On Friday 15 August, 2014 35,000 fans flocked to see performances by Rock 'N Roll Radio, twenty one pilots,Sidney Sampson, and Miss Nine, before YG Family took to the stage and closed the show with an epic set which lasted over 4 hours.

First up were 2NE1, who opened with their hit songs "Crush" and "Fire" before blowing the crowd away with "Come Back Home" and "Gotta Be You".

Epik High then got the crowd dancing with "Fly", before Winner performed "Go Up", "Empty", and "Smile Again".

Big Bang then stole the show with breathtaking performances of "Haru Haru", "Bad Boy", and "Fantastic Baby".

After a selection of collaborations, including G-Dragons songs with and CL ("The Baddest Female" and "MTBD") and Seungri ("Crayon") global superstar PSY performed his hit tracks "Right Now", "Celebrity", "Champion", "It's Art", "Father", "Gentleman", and of course "Gangnam Style".

The entire YG Family then closed the show with "Go Away", "Fantastic Baby", and an incredible version of "Gangnam Style".

Saturday 16 August saw performances from Man With A Mission, Galaxy Express, Crayon Pop, Glen Check, Cazette, and Ivan Gough, before the stadium erupted in excitement for the return of one the world's biggest superstars, and darling of South korea, Lady Gaga.

Performing for the second time in Korea, the international pop icon brought her signature style, and fantastic energy that has made her so popular among fans across the world.

She began the show with several tracks off her new album, but soon excited the crowd with awesome performances of some of her biggest hits, including “Just Dance,” “Poker Face” and “Telephone,” which soon had the crowd singing along, bouncing in unison.

As usual, her set featured many costume changes, which included her trademark clam bikini, as well as some striking golden wings.

She closed the show with a fantastic rendition of "Gypsy", during an encore which officially marked the end of the AIA Real Life: NOW Festival 2014.
